Welcome to the House of Amaranthine
A House I first came across in a nightmare when I was but 11 years old. I ran to it to find shelter to escape the monsters, as I grew up so did the house, I watched it blossom in all its splendour every time I stepped inside, such wondrous stories and characters I would uncover. For my thesis project at Parsons The New School when getting my BFA Degree in Art, Media & Technology I brought my precious realm to life, playing with nature, set design, illustrations for all to discover. Throughout my studies I was often hospitalised, due to my struggling journey with endometriosis of which I have vulnerably shared with you, my imagination has played a key role in healing from such chronic pains and finding my own power, my own voice again.
Art has always been my sanctuary since a little girl, a place to go to unleash my emotions & explore my wildest dreams, finding those moments of solitude & beauty in this ever so tempestuous life. Little by little Ive been shedding my gilded armour, setting free the gifts I carry within now ready to embark on this next chapter. It is with great pleasure that I open the doors of this house to you, in hopes to pass on the knowledge I have learned from being in this world full of art & creativity, inside you will find enchanting lessons to nurture your artistic journey, a realm of inspiration, and other little treasures.
House of Amaranthine RETREAT
Rachelle is thrilled to be partnering up for her very first House of Amaranthine Retreat with the luxury travel company Aweventurer. Known for hosting dreamy retreats for women all over the world.
This retreat will involve staying in a beautiful historic Manor in the French countryside near Paris, for 4 days. There will be art workshops hosted by Rachelle where you can learn how to unleash your creativity, tips and tricks on painting, sketch booking & journaling. There will be private chef to cook for us yummy food (of course if you have any dietary requirements please let us know before hand), where we can all sit together with the candlelight, dress up & share stories. With leisurely downtime to enjoy the manor & gardens as well as visiting the local art museums and village. Who knows we could even dance together under the moon & stars like her paintings. This trip is very limited only able to host 13 like minded women, a wonderful opportunity to come with a friend(s) but you are more than welcome to come on your own, will be a great opportunity to make some new friends. Rachelle really wants to create a safe heaven for you to come explore your creativity and the rich artistic culture that France has to offer. With hopes you leave the retreat rested & full of inspiration & precious memories.
